SkyTeam Cargo, the airline cargo alliance, has announced Peter Penseel, President – Delta Cargo, as the brand new chairperson of its Cargo Executive Board. Penseel replaces Teddy Zebitz, Saudia Cargo CEO, who has served two terms within the neutral since 2021.

Penseel, a Dutch national, brings bigger than three an extended time of trip in various roles across the air cargo, freight forwarding and logistics sectors. Prior to becoming a member of Delta, he served as Chief Operating Officer of airfreight at CEVA Logistics and, in 2021, became as soon as named Cargo Executive of the one year by Air Cargo World.

“It’s an honour to take the helm at SkyTeam Cargo as the alliance approaches its Twenty fifth anniversary year,” said Penseel. “There are keen traits ahead for SkyTeam Cargo, and I sit up for working with a world-class community of like-minded cargo carriers as we strive to take our world providing to new heights.”

Penseel’s profession entails senior leadership positions at Qatar Airways Cargo, DHL Global Forwarding and UTi Worldwide, and he also serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Maastricht Aachen Airport within the Netherlands.
