China Cargo Airways has launched a new carrier to Budapest Airport that the jap European hub hopes will enhance trade with China.

The brand new Shanghai Pudong (PVG)-Budapest carrier is operated by a Boeing 777 freighter three situations per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

It is the first time the Hungarian airport has been linked with Shanghai by the China Eastern subsidiary.

“This boost marks a critical milestone in our cargo network boost,” the airport acknowledged, highlighting the cargo volumes out of PVG.

“Final year, PVG became once the sector’s third-most attention-grabbing cargo hub in phrases of cargo turnover. The thrice-weekly scheduled connection thus creates a gargantuan transport different for export and import flows for both SMEs and multinational companies in Hungary and the CEE recount and extra strengthens BUD’s put as a cargo hub in Central and Eastern Europe.”

The brand new flight is now not the first time the airport has added a new freighter carrier from China this year.
